eDiscovery issue

We have several ediscovery searches setup on office365. This means that all the permissions are in place and that the discovery mailbox is also setup. When we try to add another search we get the follow error

I get this every time I add a new discovery search no matter how simple or elaborate. This is a real issue as we have urgent need to add more ediscovery searchs.


Spam/trojan email question.

Hello, I received this email today auto generated by the postmaster email address (please see image). I'm trying to determine if my email account may have been compromised because it would appear someone is attempting to send out spam seemingly from my Exchange Online email account. We are on the E3 plan, completely cloud based.

Any input or advice is greatly appreciated. I've changed my password once just a week ago as well.

Mail Search in OWA is not functioning

When I log into OWA on Office365, the email search box is shown. However, I'm not able to select the box to begin typing text to search for. It looks like a javascript issue of somesort that is preventing me from focusing on the search box field but I don't see any errors in the JS console of my browser.

This started a few days ago for me and is consistent on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Has anyone else run into this issue or found a work around?

Powershell Default Font and Size

Hi there,


So I'm trying to set the default font to Arial Narrow, the default size to 11 and the default color to #404040


The problem is:

Set-MailboxMessageConfiguration test@test.com -DefaultFontName Arial Narrow (I cant add this font because of the space between arial and narrow)
Set-MailboxMessageConfiguration test@test.com -DefaultFontSize 2.75 (I cant get the size 11. I know that values go from 1 to 7.)
Set-MailboxMessageConfiguration test@test.com -DefaultFontColor #404040 (With this color and comand i get erros.)


What am I doing wrong? Thanks a lot.

Don't want a new domain, just email. How do I go back to square one?

I am at step 5 in setting up office 365 and find that I do not want a new domain, just email. Need to get the mx address and plug that into the existing host.

Single O365 user can't receive email

I just signed up for a single O365 mailbox. I modified my single MX record to point to Microsoft and completed the setup. I can access my mailbox online via Outlook Web App, and I can access it via ActiveSync on my Android phone. I can send from it successfully via both of those as well.  My problem is that I cannot receive mail to the account.

I've searched the forum posts, but they all apply to Exchange online or small business accounts. Mine is just a single O365 account for my domain. How do I fix this, or is this just "wait for DNS to propagate"?

Can't add an account to Mac Mail

I'm having issues adding an account to my Mac Mail App in one of my mail accounts (I have three and tow of them work fine). When adding an Exchange account I got a message "Preferences Error there was an error on Internet Accounts preference pane"

Hello,

We've had 3 users come forward and say that they've had email go missing that was in their inbox. We've checked deleted items, recover deleted items, Inbox, did a search all to no avail. has anyone else heard of this problem? I've opened a ticket but am reaching out here as well. If anyone has any information please let me know.

Global Adressbook sort by lastname then firstname

Calendar Items missing in OWA, show up in Outlook client

SSIA. User has Outlook 2007 which has no problem signing in to O365 Exchange. items in personal calendar & public calendar are visible, however nothing shows up in OWA. Confirmed using IE8, IE11 and Chrome. Submitted question to support via admin panel, no reply.

Word wrapping not working for some Office 365 users at our company

I'm a IT technician for a e-shoping and mail order company for IN and NY and I am trying to troubleshoot a problem our end-user in IN is having when composing emails out of Office 365. 

When composing a lengthy email there is no line breaking, when sending the email appears with no word wrapping or line breaking.   So a break appears in the middle of a word.  I have this user another user in NY with the same issue and have replicated this on the following systems below.

Windows XP Pro SP3, IE8/Firefox 28

Windows 7 SP1, IE9/Firefox 28

 

Having the user try it on both systems and repeat this issue.  I can forward the email this user composes with this problem to another mailbox and that email retains the word wrapping problem.

Change Font

Today I changed from Windows Live Mail to this Office 365 thing. I'm trying to send my first email. No matter how many time I hilite the text and click to change the font size to 14 it stays at 12. Is it possible to change the font size in Office 365? Actually I would like to change the default font setting if that is possible. All ideas, suggestions, comments any wish to offer will be greatly appreciated. K.

Read Receipt Error

Hi Guys,

Using office 365 for the organisation, most users are experiencing errors when requesting read receipts.  When they enable read receipts for specific messages they get the following email delivered to them containing a common error message:

"your message contained an option unknown to outlook therefore receipt generation failed"

The original sent email is however received by the recipient.

Anyone have any ideas?

E-mail address/username change

I realize that there is the option to change a users e-mail address and that it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect.

However, I'm curious as to if they'll still receive e-mails from the old e-mail account to their new one.

For example: If someone sends an e-mail to janea@domain.com and we change the email to janeb@domain.com will the janeb account receive e-mails sent to janea? Or is it best to set up a new e-mail account, leave the old one and forward the e-mails until it's no longer needed

Also, I'm wondering if we will need to do a backup of the users e-mails/folders etc or if they will be transferred (if we change the e-mail address/username)

Unable to send meeting cancelation notification

Hello

My name is Rajesh

I have a user name Tina.

when i send meeting request, Tina is received and she can accept it. and i am getting accepting notification from Tina.

But when i canceled same meeting she is not receiving  cancelation notification, and i am getting failure notification.

from my calendar meeting entries is deleting automatically when i send cancelation meeting, but from Tina calendar not.

Undeliverable Email to External Contact

Error:

 We're getting delivery failures mailing to external contacts. The simple error message is always the same:

The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found. Please check the recipient's e-mail address and try to resend the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.

It doesn't matter if the email is typed manually (it autoresolves).

 

Steps Already Taken:

  • I've deleted the nickname autoresolve cache files on individual computers, including my own C:\Users\AIAWA\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache). This did not fix the problem (my boss had the issue just minutes after the deletion).

Possible Factors:

  • We recently updated our External Contacts via Windows Powershell.

My emails are received as junk

Hi all,

I have a problem which is that any email sent from my domain is received as junk in gmail,yahoo,aol....

What can I do to solve this? Note that it come to Hotmail Inbox normally.

I tried to contact gmail but they asked me for my exchange log , where can I find it?
