How would an OWA user go about attaching a file from sharepoint online to an email?
Add attachment from sharepoint online to OWA email

Received-SPF header
When sending emails through the Office 365 Exchange environment (with any client including OWA), the Exchange server adds the following header to my email:
Received-Spf: None (: customdomain.com does not designate permitted sender hosts)
It doesn't matter whether the account uses the customdomain.com or the tenant.onmicrosoft.com domain.
The header is not true (SPF works and the records are correct), but why does Exchange insist on adding this header? I tried filtering it out using a transport rule, but this header cannot be deleted by a transport rule.
This wouldn't normally be a problem (None is neutral after all), but some target systems that do implement SPF see the presence of a prior SPF header as an attempt to trick the anti-spam system and that's not good for the message. I would prefer not having any SPF headers in my outgoing mail. It is the receiving system's job to add this header.
Is there any way I can disable it?
IMAP Migration fails for ONE user of many
Hi,
I have read a lot of posts here on migration troubles, and I have the exact same issue as a lot of others seems to have had (still have?)
I have recently migrated all of our users from a local cloudprovider of email service (using zimbra) and all of the users have been migrated more or less painlessly, now using the exact same parameters, from the exact same remote IMAP server and with an account that can log in and read mail via those settings with no trouble whatsoever, Office 365 simply refuses to migrate that specific account...
so, the other 21 mailboxes were migrated, but the one failed.
I have since created a specific csv file with just that one mailbox, tried with different logins (the cloudprovider accepts many different) but though I suddenly got a couple of hundred emails synced, the bulk remains with the same failure message as before.
Now, if this was a random connection problem, hitting various users at times, I could just say that the O365 solution simply sucked badly at keeping a connection up, but since it managed all the other users with various sized mailboxes with very different numbers of emails, I cannot feel anything but that this account is singled out because of some reason...
Would it be possible to get this site to give a better error message then that it has connection trouble?
Like, what KIND of connection trouble? login not working? SSL errors? dropped lines?
Other cases here at the forum suggests that mailboxes might e to big and or single items or attachements... if so PLEASE specify that in the error message, a simple "NOT WORKING" message is no help at all.
I have gone through my remote IMAP mailboxes and removed any bigger items 5Mb+ and also removed a lot of things I dont need... but this is getting silly since it takes only minutes for the sync to decide there is trouble with my connection whilst still keeping some of my coworkers syncs up and running from the same host.
I have no way to run your powershell test, simply because I have no windows system to run it on atm, but it works from imap in my phone, from my workstation and via other imap clients, it's just the migration from O365 that has trouble.

We suspect that our Office 365 Small Business email may have been hacked. Other than having all users change their password, what else can we do?
Outlook.com migrated to office online
I initially had an outlook.com account which I set up with a primary alias for my email
I purchased outlook (exchange online) and set it up such that I used the same mail address that I used for outlook.com. I was able to migrate successfully to the office online by exporting and importing from my old outlook.com account
I am using Outlook 2013 as my desktop client. Everything is working flawlessly with one exception. A list serv that I am a member of is sending messages that are being picked up in the old outlook.com account and not coming to the new exchnage online account.
I supposed I could delete my old outlook.com account but I cannot change the alias.
Can any one help with this

Word Wrap in Firefox not working
We have recently found that Firefox does not allow Word Wrap (HTML format) within an email window - either it be in the reading pane while replying/composing or in a new pop out window.
When you reach the end of the pane the text should move to another line but it does not - it creates one single line of text, even with spaces and a horizontal scroll bar appears. This is only a recent bug we have found.
Plain text word wrap works fine but not whilst using HTML version.

In Google Chrome it works fine, though others prefer Firefox.
We are using the Education Plan A2.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Multiple domain names?
When I originally signed up for Office 365 Business I could add a domain alias aka me@otherdomain.com to receive e-mail from that domain but I couldn't send e-mail out or reply via me@otherdomain.com. Is this still the case? My subscription is expiring next month and google apps offers this feature. I really like Office 365 and the Office desktop products but I don't want to be managing multiple accounts for each domain I have.
After PST import ALL Calendar items are missing
Hello all.
We performed a full PST import for each internal staff mailbox into Office365. When I was looking over the result, I noticed 2 users' calendars totally empty! NO entries from any time period.
Other users have all their data, mail, contacts, and calendars. Except these 2.
Some details:
- The PST that I imported was exported from Outlook365
- These 2 users delegated access to their mailbox to another user. Not sure if this matter, but I'm trying to think what makes these 2 mailboxes stand out. This is the only delegation rule that we have
- The items are not deleted. When i try to do a restore of deleted items in OWA, I don;t find them
- I read about a solution where I can eDiscover the lost calendar items... Not sure if this applies to my case, but anyway, eDiscovery requires Exchange Plan 2, and we don't have that (we got Plan 1).
Can't see Free/Busy, Calendar permissions granted indirectly
I'm having problems getting Free/Busy information to propagate through security groups.
I am a member of midwest_local. Georgia is a member of midwest_remote. Steve is a member of westcoast_local. The groups midwest_local and midwest_remote are the sole members of a parent group, midwest_all. The group westcoast_local is one of two members in westcoast_all. At the top level, we have a group all_staff, with only two members, midwest_all and westcoast_all.
all_staff (this group has Reviewer on all staff calendars)
midwest_all
midwest_local (me)
midwest_remote (Georgia)
westcoast_all
westcoast_local (Steve)
westcoast_remote
In mailbox calendar permissions, we want to grant the role of calendar Reviewer to all staff. We have set the permission at the top level, on the all_staff group. For general calendar viewing, this seems to work. However, in the scheduling assistant, I cannot see any information for Georgia or Steve. If I add the permission midwest_local (the group that I am a direct member) to their mailbox permissions, then free/busy appears.
What is going on? Why can't I see Georgia and Steve's Free/Busy via my membership hierarchy up through all_staff?
Word Wrap in Firefox stopped working on 4/23/14
We have 600 employees using the Office 365 OWA (ns hosted). We are on the E2 plan and the word wrap functionality has stopped working in Firefox. We have not upgraded the Firefox and there has been no changes on our side. Can you PLEASE take a look at this and advise?
This is becoming a MAJOR issue.
Search emails, limitations in the online Outlook client (OWA)
I have two questions concerning email searching in the online Outlook email client (i.e. OWA):
Question 1:
When I search for emails using the online client then the folder list that is normally shown to the left disappears and instead search options are displayed (e.g. "Include messages from:"). Are there any way that I can keep the folder list when searching?
The business I'm serving manually sorts incoming emails into a shared mailbox and would like to be able to search the inbox, select multiple items, and then drag and drop the selected items to a folder. This appears not to be possible using the OWA.
I'm aware that it is possible to click the Move link in the right pane and then scroll down to the folder but that is not very efficient.
Question 2:
This question is specific for searches in shared mailboxes. When searching a shared mailbox (again using the OWA) the options for searching the entire mailbox and for searching subfolders are disabled. Is this because it is only possible to search the current folder when it comes to shared mailboxes (this post: http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/158/p/15377/121306.aspx#121306 seems to indicate so)?
Are there any particular reason for this limitation?
We are having some rather significant issues with the performance of shared mailboxes and the only option I see right now is to tell shared mailbox users to use the OWA instead of the normal Outlook client. However, the apparent search limitations in the OWA makes this a hard-to-sell alternative. The OWA appears far less efficient than the normal Outlook client.
Are there any plans to improve the OWA? Are there any workarounds?
PST Capture - Import error: The specified folder could not be found in the store
I am migrating from Kerio Connect to Office 365's Exchange online. The only way I see possible to do this is to PAINFULLY export each mailbox into a PST file, and then import using the PST Capture tool. However, when I try to import the mailbox, I receive the error in the subject line.
I have already confirmed that I have permissions on the target mailbox, and can open the mailbox in outlook just fine, and browse all folders. I have also confirmed that the PST file is intact and can open in with no issues in Outlook 2010 x64.
The fact that I haven't found anyone with this issue is bothersome to me... I followed all instructions to the tee.
cannot create shared mailbox
Windows Live ID "eFax@GFBHOLDINGS.COM" already exists as a managed Windows Live ID. To use the existing Windows Live ID, use the UseExistingLiveId parameter.
I don't recall ever setting up a Windows Live ID with that same email/user account. I have also tried to logon to the Windows Live ID, but the system says the user account does not exist.
How do I solve it ????????????????????
Office 365 User setup Failure in Outlook 2013
Hello,
Ok so I have a new 365 user that I am trying to set up in Outlook 2013. This will be the only user using this Outlook. When I try to setup with the auto connection via Outlook or Mail in the control panel the setup is never able to find the settings. (Second green check mark)
To test I was able to set up my own account on on this Outlook without any problems.
So my guess is there is some sort of user setting in my 365 account that I am missing, would that be correct? Anyone have any thoughts?
thank you,
Multiple copies of same email
Why are there multiple copies of the same email in my Outlook Inbox? All at different times. Below is an example, but it happens on all emails.
Email and calendar - Automated Email <community@noreply.office365.com>
onedrive links
Hi,
I added links to the onedrive page before, and also have "manage links" and "add links" currently. But for another new user, I don't seem to be able to add the links to the OneDrive page any longer?
1. Can I add links to the OneDrive page after latest changes to OneDrive? The reason for the links is to add links to additional document libraries I will be setting up within OneDrive site collection.
I am not looking for links in the newsfeed, but want to have the links in the OneDrive page on the left had side.
Thank you
Mail - Suggestions on the "To:" field include old email
In web email for Office365, whenever I type a particular name in the "To:" field, it begins to suggest email addresses (which I thought were from the address book). Well, one email continues to pop up in the field that does not exist anywhere in the contact list. I have painstakingly checked, and the email reference is gone from contacts. The email address in question is no longer valid anyway. Yet, I can't stop mail from suggesting it. Is there a way to "erase" whichever list the utility is using and start fresh, without deleting all my contacts?
Thanks.

how to add repeating item to public site
I see that I can add a repeating item to a team site calendar, but I am not finding the same capability with the calendar I made on my public site. I have to copy and past the calendar item in list view and change the dates. Is there a better way to do this?
thanks
