Hi All,
I have an issue with mail flow between Cloud, EX2003 and EX2010 mailbox.
EX2010 mailbox -> Office365 mailbox: OK
Office365 mailbox -> EX2010 mailbox: OK
Office365 mailbox -> EX2003 mailbox: No email or NDR
I ran Message Trace and found the emails I sent.
it says:
Message transferred from:To_DomainForcedTLS
Well? How long? I've been waiting more than half a day for approval, and so far NOTHING.
No email. No anything. In the meantime we've lost half a day...and that doesn't include waiting for anyone to reply, which rarely happens quickly.
Geez Louise...
i signed into outlook fine yesterday now when i try it keeps saying
"You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account)."
its a live account its work with outlook for years why today it stop f**king working ?
is there another why i can get into my account as i got important emails i need to get to
We recently migrated to MS365 Hosted Exchange from SBS 2003 but were previously able to utilize public folder contacts as an address book in Outlook 2010, 2007, and 2003. After the migration, the public folder contacts are visible and editable by all Outlook 2007 and 2010 users, however the 2007 users, regardless of permissibility, are unable to add the Public Folder Contacts as an Outlook address book. When properties of the contacts are viewed in Outlook 2007, a reduced number of tabs appear and Outlook Address Book is not one of them. All 2010 users are email address book capable. A comment in a related discussion indicated that that this is an Outlook issue, not an Office 365 online issue, but this started only after migrating to Hosted Exchange. The functionality of Outlook 2007 clients was changed by the migration to Hosted Exchange. Hopefully someone has had a similar issue and has found a resolution.
I have multiple email accounts in my profile. If I go to control panel > mail> email accounts
the accounts are listed and it shows that I have selected an account ( lets call it account A)
Microsoft Exchange (send from this account by default)
yet in outlook when I create a new email it puts account B as the "send from" by default.
I can select from a dropdown to choose another account or I can click on the account in my folders list but if I forget to do that I may send the email from the wrong account.
appears to be the same in outlook 2010, 2013
ideas?

i have 2 users that have an aliased account..
I have moved their mailboxes to O365, but cannot log in as them.
I use their current account name.. accountname@domain.com and it get bounced out.
When I use the alias@Domain.com thats bounced out too..
I cannot log in as either the currentuser name, OR as the aliased account name.
I need answers.. or ideas as to why
Some of our clients still use an old e-mail address from way before we started using Office 365.
Since we started using Office 365, e-mails addressed to info@p-ink.nl (for example) were send out from my client just fine, but did not end up in sales@p-ink.nl. In fact they did not show up anywhere.
This has something to do with DNS or MX or whatever, but I cannot seem to figure out what to adjust to get the *@p-ink.nl mails redirected to sales@p-ink.nl.
I am not seeing a way that I can add a distribution list in Office 365 with Powershell or the Windows Azure AD Graph API.
I see some really old posts about "Set-MSOLGroup" with the grouptype flag but it doesn't work and is not supported.
So how can I do this same functionality without having to log into the Office 365 console and create a group that way? I am looking to automate this process.
Thanks in advance.
Steve
Hi all;
We are planning our move to Office 365 soon but we have one use case that is still not covered by the new environment.
In our current service provider setup we have many distribution lists, and we need all the messages sent by all members and non-members of those lists to be archived for future reference. Since our current service provider do not offer that service, we had to setup a local Mailman machine that archives all mail sent to our exchange distribution lists in the cloud.
Is there a way to do that with Office 365? Some way to archive all mail traffic from some distribution groups? We need pretty much what's offered by Google Groups service.
For Instance: I've looked into the concept of Shared Mailboxes, and even if they will be useful for us, they do not cover all the needs.
Hey guys, i was wondering, if i added the office 365 mx record but instead of 0 i use a higher priority, so that mail reaches my onpremise mailbox and then "copies" to the office 365 mailbox. If a mail were to be sent to a user who wasnt migrated and didnt have office 365 account, would that result in an NDR for the sender?
Hello Everyone,
Over the weekend the company that I work for had it's Office 365 upgrade. Since the upgrade at least one Android phone (Motorola Defy MB525) user has lost email connectivity. The Server Address on the Exchange account of the phone is still m.outlook.com however I am wondering if this has changed since the upgrade. If it has changed can somebody please tell me the new address? Not that it is likely to make any difference, but just in case I am located in the biggest island, and only island continent, that's right the great Australasia!
Kind Regards,
David
Hi all,
I have office 365 SMB. I have all my email accounts working and connected to outlook etc. I also have one shared mailbox running on two separate machines at different locations. I am having trouble getting the shared mailbox to save "sent" emails in the shared mailbox sent folder so it is viewable on all machines using the shared mailbox. We are using the latest version of outlook on windows 7 and 8 machines. Before you send me to -> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2843677 . I have already done this several times. I even tried using 14.0, 15.0 regedits but it still doesnt work. It is still saving the "sent email" to the "sent" folder of the main user account.
One of the biggest migration reasons was this shared mailbox and letting people have access to see sent, inbox (full conversation) etc to manage a shared mailbox. This whole process has been riddled with problems or having to waste time with work arounds.
Can anyone help with why it doesnt put the sent emails in the shared mailbox on separate machines which obviously doesn't add it to the browser web app send folder of the shared mailbox either. As i have stated i have already tried the regedits.
Appreciate the help.
