We have a team that files away emails in a shared mailbox that they all use but over the last few weeks, the emails have been disappearing. They use Outlook 2010 and have been using this method for about 18 months without an issue.
Basically, emails come into a personal mailbox and are then dragged to the shared mailbox in a subfolder. I have then seen this with my own eyes, the email shows up in the shared mailbox for a few seconds and then disappears. It is gone from both mailboxes and cant be found in Outlook or OWA. I have tried both dragging and moving an email for the same result.
The shared mailbox has a few hundred subfolders that aren't under the inbox but the problem has only happened recently so im not sure if amount of folders is the issue
The mailbox size is about 3GB which isnt overly large
Any ideas on how we can check where these emails are going???
