Cannot send email as google apps for business connected account

Hi 

I am facing a problem with connected accounts.

I have two domains for my company one is on google apps , i want to be able to send and receive only on office365.

I can succesfully connect to the google apps account at connected accounts using pop , by entering settings manually and receive email with no problem at all.

The only problem is that i get an error saying that the confirmation message could not be send and i cannot set google apps email as default send address .

I try aggain later same error each time, i tried repeating the process several times in a day same deal.

The error is there only if you want to connect a google apps account , gmail free accounts work just fine.

Any help with that will be greatly appreciated as it will make my life much easier.
