I can't find an answer that specifically addresses Gmail. I am not an IT person, I am a one person company. I need simple, easy to understand instructions on how to migrate my existing email on Gmail to my new Exchange email account. I've tried making the .csv file numerous times, not working. Have no idea what many of the terms in the instructions stand for, have had to go to multiple screens, click on multiple "click here for more info" sites, etc. Can someone please tell a non-IT person how to move her gmail to Exchange? thank you.
I would like to publish a calendar to a website from one of our shared mailboxes and cannot get it to work properly. Here's what I've tried:
1. Logging into Office 365 and opening the shared mailbox (logging in as my user account and then clicking the "Open another mailbox" and selecting the shared mailbox). I went to the calendar and then right clicked the calendar under My Calendars on the left hand side and selected permissions. I then changed the Public Calendar to be full details. I clicked Save and got the following error: "The action couldn't be completed. An error occurred and your request couldn't be completed. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk with this HTTP Status code: 500".
2. I've tried from Outlook 2010 too but the Publish Online option is greyed out and I cannot select it.
Am I missing something or can the "Shared Mailbox" Calendars not be published online?
I am using Office 365 Small Business Premium. I have 5 users up and running. Went to add my 6th user and when I went to connect their email it told me it could not send the verification email after it said it connected fine. I tried everything but it will not send the verification email so this account can receive emails but not send. I then called tech support and spent an hour watching the tech confirm everything I already knew. I even showed him other users accounts and that everything was working fine. When he could not fix it he told me I had to go to the community forums or PAY Microsoft money to fix Microsoft's software. I have spent 10s of hours setting up Office 365 so my firm can use the software and now I am most likely going to have to find another solution. Again Microsoft cannot get their act together.
If anyone out there knows how to fix this please let me know.
So, here is the situation. Whenever I have a user leave, I move their mailbox to our on-premises Exchange 2010 SP3 server (hybrid co-existence model) and archive to PST. I've been doing this for over a year now, and even since our Office 365 has been upgraded.
I've been using the command:

which I run after being connected to the remote Powershell.
However, today I tried to move a user and got the message:
You shouldn't migrate mailbox '<username>' to Exchange 2010 or an earlier version while the user's Instant Messaging contact list is stored in Exchange. If you do, the user could permanently lose access to their Instant Messaging contact list, which will cause serious data loss. The Exchange copy might be the only copy of this user's contact list. To continue, please contact your Instant Messaging administrator and make sure that the user's contact list is moved back to the Instant Messaging server. After this has been done, you should be able to complete this migration. If you mustmigrate the mailbox despite the potential data loss, you can do so by running 'Set-UMMailbox mailboxID -ImListMigrationCompleted $false'.

When I run the command they list, I get a "The mailbox <username> isn't enabled for Unified Messaging". Which is correct--we don't have Unified Messaging turned on.
So, the question is...how do I fix this? I need to get this mailbox archived out so I can use the license for another user.

I have PHP code that creates an email alert from an internal outlook address. This is getting automatically sent to the Junk mail folder and the html code is now visible.

I want to setup and test the mailflow between Exchange online in Office 365 and Zimbra.
My goal is to enable the smart hosting function between the 2 mail systems. The users in Office 365 and Zimbra can send email to each other.
Exchange Online domain : abc.com
Zimbra domain : abc.com
I already config the outbound connector in Exchange online to Zimbra but it's not working. The user in Exchange online can't send the email to the user in Zimbra. The sender received the message that can't find the user on this email system. Does this issue happen because the same domain name between the 2 mail systems.
Any suggestions is appreciated.
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 yesterday. I have my MS Exchange account setup and the email is syncing without issue. The problem is that only one of my calendars is syncing with my phone. I have three calendars associated with my account and the other two calendars are not showing up as display options on the phone.
All 3 calendars synced with my previous phone (Motorola Atrix) without issue and I haven't changed any settings.
Do I need to do something specific with the different phone?

I am trying to move a user mailbox from Office365 to on-premise. The move fails with the error: exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. I am able to move other users in both directions without a problem. I moved a user successfully a few minutes after this failure so I know the process is working. I've attached a screenshot of the error. User guid is valid. Target email address looks correct when I run adsiedit. Any suggestions on what I can check for this individual users? Thanks.

Can someone please advise how I can cancel these 2 licenses that aren't being used?
I can't seem to find any instructions on how to do this.

We have an internal domain of 'contoso.com' and we are also sharing the domain with Google Apps while we migrate users off of Google.
Right now, we got dual delivery enabled in Google Mail that sends all email into our mailboxes in the exchange environment, while at the same time delivering it to the Google mailbox as well. That works great.
Our problem is that when Office 365 users send mail back out to users who are still in Google, we are doing it with a Mail Flow Rule that routes all mail through an outbound connector back to our shared name space using MX record lookup. (Otherwise, mail will just hop between mailboxes in Exchange, rather than go back out to Google).
Our problem is that everyone in Google keeps getting blank emails with winmail.dat attachments! I have already created a remote domain and disabled TNEF in the set-remotedomain cmdlets. But it's still sending those emails! Even through the Outlook Web App set to plan-text mode.
No matter what I do, I can't get it to send email to Google recipeint mailboxes without blank emails with winmail.dat attachments!

We had moved to office 365 and converted 6 users accounts to room mailboxes. Now they listed as "Unlicensed users list from user management". How we can fix this?. Adding new room mailbox not shown in ""Unlicensed users list from user management". Only converted room mailboxes are shown.

Our account has been active since November 2012. One of our user accounts ("sales") redirects its new messages to 10 other users in the organization and has done so without fail, up to recently. We added a new user ("jon") on May 6 (AFTER the recent O365 service upgrade), and when we try to add that new user to the forwarding rule of the "sales" account, the following occurs:
The new user ("jon") does not receive the message.
NONE of the other accounts receive the redirected message.
NO bounce NOR non-delivery reports are generated.
When we remove the new "jon" account from the rule, everything goes back to working without fail.
We have tried the following:
1. Created a SEPARATE rule for just "jon." Doesn't work if the other rule to the group of 10 is turned on.
2. If the "jon"-only rule is prioritized at top, the redirected message DOES get delivered to "jon," but not to anyone else in the subsequent rule (we un-checked the box to stop processing rules on the "jon"-only rule).
3. Tried getting one of the working recipient accounts ("vince") to use its own forwarding rule to relay the message to "jon" account, but that doesn't work either. In other words, NO INTERNAL account can forward nor redirect a message to the "jon" account by way of a rule established in the "organize mail" section of OWA => Options.
Our band-aid: we created a generic email address, added it to the working rule (now to 10 users plus this new gmail address), and are forwarding FROM the Gmail address back to the "jon" account. These messages forwarded from the EXTERNAL Gmail account DO arrive in the Jon inbox.
Can anyone please help? We simply want the new "jon" account to be added to our existing, working inbox rule for our "sales" account that redirects incoming messages to a team of 11 users WITHOUT having that account break the entire forwarding system.
