Week and day view in 15 minute increments

I did not find anything about this issue with a search, so I am either alone with my problem or too stupid to figure it out....

I am working on a solution for a customer and the intent is to literally take his business to the could. So far everything forked out fine until it came to the SharePoint calendar.

My customer wants to create a team calendar on his team site where team members can add appointments directly via the portal (no problem)

The appointments my customer schedules are all 15 minutes long. (no problem)

He schedules 4 or more appointments for the same 15 minute time slot. (no problem)

He wants to view the calendar in 15 minute increments when viewed in day or week view, since the current view displays all 15 minute appointments next to each other in a 30 minute slot, independent if they all start at the same time or not. (HUGE problem)

I couldn't find any information on how and if it would be possible to change the time increments from the standard 30 minute interval to a 15 minute interval when showing a day or week view.

It doesn't seem to be a problem in outlook and since I can add appointments with 15 minute durations in my calendar list I believe it really is only a view issue.

Unfortunately using outlook and linking it to the team calendar in SharePoint is not an option for my customer.

Did anyone come across this issue and is there a solution to it, or do I have to tell my customer that his solution is impossible to implement because of this limitation?

I truly appreciate your input!
