If any one can offer any advice it would be appreciated.
I am new to the company, they recently migrated from an internal mac email solution to 365 (previous version). They have a partner (client) who requires 168bit TLS, since the migration emails have failed.
Partner has given us the following log errors:
"relay=tx2ehsobe005.messaging.microsoft.com [65.55.88.15], reject=403 4.7.0 encryption too weak 128 less than 168"
365 Trace messages give u:
"In Deferral: 451 4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with: "454 4.7.5 Certificate validation failure." Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed. Either there are no alternative hosts or delivery failed to all alternative hosts"
I have added the company and domain connectors for the partner using outbound and inbound connector. Tried all available options and still going though at the default 128bit.
I think it maybe due to the certificates, as i can see the failed attempts connecting at the higher rate using checktls.com and replicating the setup.
Im new to 365 and cant see how you can add in any certificates, tried calling MS and after 1hr 20mins then losing connection (3rd attempt) seems pointless. Also documentation is so clear esp with new version out.
I know am missing something obvious but need to get it working asap.
