Hi
I've been using office 365 for a couple of months now, I copied my email over from my old outlook into the new exchange account with no problems (about 5 years worth).
A couple of days ago I needed to reference an email from early 2008, which was fine and as expected I found it with no problems.
Today, I have just looked for the email again and it's vanished! In fact, the email totaled about 700MB but is now 0MB.
I'm obviously a little concerned. The settings are the defaults, I've not fiddled with any archiving or the such or applied any retention policies. I noticed the account says that mail messages would be moved to the online archive after 2 years though.
Firstly, how do I access the online archive? I have added an "Archive - Vanessa Evans" folder but this is empty.
Secondly, should I worry that the default configuration for office 365 exchange has something set to delete older emails (I would assume not because that would be plain stupid!).
Any advice on how I can retrieve my old emails would be helpful, I've spend multiple days so far looking at options but keep drawing blanks
