Outlook Sync on a shared computer

Hi,

In our organization our users are using Office 2010 connected to Office 365 on their desk computers.  Typically a user will receive a large number of e-mails every day, numbering in the hundreds.  Some of these users also have to use a shared computer (also running Office 2010) daily for around an hour each, which they log in to using their own domain credentials.  The users of the shared computer prefer to use Outlook to view their e-mails, but are unhappy that it takes time to synchronize their mail from the past day, and thus delaying new e-mails from appearing in Outlook.  Outlook is running in cached mode and we are unable to change it because it is enforced via group policy.

I have tried to come up with solutions to get the shared computer to run the outlook.exe process as each of these users to synchronize their mail whilst no-one is using the shared computer, so that when they need to use it their mailbox is up-to-date.  I've tried using psexec, wmi (from C#) and a scheduled task (set to run whether the user is logged in or not), and in each of these methods the outlook.exe process starts as the correct user, but nothing is being synchronized. I'm assuming that because the user is not logged in to the PC when the outlook.exe process is started remotely it is causing a problem when starting Outlook and thus not synchronizing the mailbox.

Does anyone have a solution as to how the users' mailboxes on the shared computer can be kept up-to-date prior to each user having to use the shared computer without manual intervention from each of the users (It would be preferable not to have each user log in prior to their hour on the computer just to sync their mailbox)?

Thanks.
