Hi,
We've been experiencing a particularly odd usability bug in Outlook Web App. When I double click an attachment of .msg type (i.e an e-mail message attached to another e-mail), it opens in a new window as normal.
Normally, there are 3 dots (...) in the upper right hand corner of this window which you can click to show options like print, delete etc. Unfortunately, when opening a .msg attachment this button fails to work. You can click the button, but a menu never appears.
To reproduce:
1. This first step needs to be done in the Outlook Desktop client. Use Ctrl+Click to select 2 or more e-mail message in your Inbox
2. Right-click one of these messages and select 'Forward'. Send these to an Office 365 enabled recipient (sending to the same mailbox that received the messages also works here)
3. Login to Outlook Web App with the mailbox you sent the message to in Step 2
4. Find the e-mail, and double click to open in a new window. (Note clicking the 3 dots (..) in the upper right corner shows a menu as expected here)
5. The .msg attachments should appear in the message body. Double click one of these to open yet another window.
6. Try clicking the 3 dots (...) in this newly opened window
I wonder whether anyone else is experiencing this problem too?
Some additional information:
We are on Wave 15 Office 365 (Office 2013 look and feel)
Issue has been replicated in Internet Explorer 11, Firefox 26.0 and Google Chrome 32.0
Thanks,
Ashley
