It's quite common for employees in our organization to receive meeting invites from external parties. The external party typically sets the location in the meeting invite to be a location within their own office. When our employees receive these invites, they would like to be able to forward the invite/event to one of our room mailboxes to book the room for their meeting/teleconference.
However - when our employees forward the event from their calendar to one of our room mailboxes, nothing happens.
Is there any way to reserve the meeting room without having to recreate the event on your Exchange calendar and invite the meeting room?
