Outlook 365 is running on an old PC but I need to migrate everything to the new computer. Currently there are two accounts set up in Outlook and the full paths of the mail files are as follows:
Email Account 1 - C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\MyName@bellnet.ca.ost
Email Account 2 - C:\Users\Documents\Outlook\MyName@rogers.com.ost
There are other PST files in the respective Outlook folders as well. Since I will be decommissioning the old PC, I would like to be able to transfer all the contents of these two accounts over.
I have set up one of the mail accounts on the new computer. It can now send and receive new messages from the fresh installation of Outlook 365. However, I cannot see any of my contacts or old messages. I tried to manually copy the OST files mentioned above to the new computer and manually select the OST file. It came back with an error message that the OST file belonged to another account.
Can someone please give me some guidance on how to properly migrate the accounts so that I can have Outlook works just as before?
Thanks in advance.
