considerations for decommissioning last on-prem Exchange 2010

Hi all,

We're finally done with all mailbox moves to O365 under hybrid configuration with our on-prem Exchange 2010 SP3. Now I'd like to know what are the tasks before we can run the uninstallation process, as there seems to have no complete coverage on the A/D side of things as far as my research went. Also I've read thru the post dated Dec 2012(I wonder if it's still up-to-date): http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2012/12/05/decommissioning-your-exchange-2010-servers-in-a-hybrid-deployment.aspx

Basically my questions are below:

1. is there anything other than regular mailboxes we need to move over to O365, i.e. arbitration mailboxes, etc. I do know that they need to be gone in order for the Exchange uninstallation to work.

2. is there any best practice or recommended steps to prepare the on-prem A/D for the Exchange uninstallation? Or we simply hit "uninstall" and it will cover all necessary change for A/D?

3. anything else outside of above document that we need to do before/after the on-prem Exchange uninstall process?

As pre-cautious step I have shutdown the on-prem Exchange for a couple days and everything still seems to work. Note that this is our only one and last on-prem Exchange, and we'll keep the DirSync process to sync everything to the O365.

All help or comments are appreciated.
