Is it possible to have cloud only ID in a tenant with federated user have mailboxes in Exchange online, have the same SMTP domain prefix, be in the same GAL and be seen for free/busy. ?
Example. I have a tenant that has two domains. mydomain.com is a federated domain and set up for SSO (ADFS and DirSync). mydomain.com is also the primary SMTP for the federated user in the tenant. myotherdomain.com is a validated domain in the tenant, but not federated. User with this prefix are cloud only ID's. Can I add an Exchange online license to a myotherdomain.com user and assign them a primary SMTP address of mydomain.com? Would they be able to send and receive mail using the primary SMTP if mydomain.com? Would they be seen by federated users in the GAL (unified GAL) and vise-versa? Can they been seen for free/busy by federated user and vice-versa?
Thanks
