I manage a shared calendar in a small office of about 20 people, and with every new hire I send them an invitation, with full editing permissions, to their e-mail address. I make sure to click their name from the global address list, and send off the invite.
Unfortunately, since upgrading from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2013, now the invitations cannot be opened. In 2010 and older, the "Open Calendar" button on the recipient's invitation is greyed-out and unclickable. In Outlook 2013, when the "Open Calendar" button is clicked, they receive a message stating:
"The folder you selected is not available."
I know this problem is exclusive to Outlook 2013, because before I uninstalled 2007, I was able to close Outlook 2013, send the calendar invite from Outlook 2007, and it would go through just fine. Now that 2007 isn't an option, I'm not sure how I am going to get this shared calendar to work!
Thank you,
M.
