Hi I am migrating from SBS 2003 to office 365 ( and 2012 std ) and after uninstalling the previous office suite ( 2003 ) and installing 2013, if I try to configure outlook on a machine joined to the domain, it always finds the local exchange server, which outlook cannot connect to due to it being 2003.
I have tried copying settings from a non domain joined machine, and manually configuring outlook, but this does not work.
I tried removing the homeMDB and homeMTA settings for a user in adsiedit.msc, and although this user now does not auto find the local exchange server, it also does not find the external 365 one either.
I do not want to resort to hacking the registry.
Surely there is a migration path from SBS 2003 to office 365, as I would assume that there might be a fair bit of this going on over the next 6 months to a year.
Can anyone advise
thanks
Gareth
