Outlook connectivity issue - cannot run "Test E-mail AutoConfiguration"

Hi,

I'm having a few connectivity issues with Outlook 2010 and Exchange Online (office 365) - I believe the issue is related to the Global Address List, as it's using a FQDN instead of a Local Path, and it cannot download the Offline Local Address Book (it just never progresses) and quite often, Outlook reports it cannot connect, and includes the full path of the Global Address List (which is something like {long-hash-string}@mydomain.com)

I followed point 2 and 3 of this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2441551

So, then I am following this:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2429946 and at point 6, I want to run the "Test Email Auto Config", ut quite simply, this menu does not appear when CTrl + Right Mouse on the Outlook Icon in the taskbar! I'm running Outlook 2010 on Win8, and the same occurs with outlook 2010 on Win7. When I Ctrl + right click, I simply get the normal options, as shown in this screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hwtcd27vxy6t76y/outlook.png , not the advanced options including "Test E-mail AutoConfiguration."

I have also found this thread: http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/158/t/46431.aspx -- again to fully debug, I need to be able to run this Test Email Auto Config option.

Many thanks in advance,
Rob
