We have recently switched one of our clients over to Office 365 and one of their users is getting this error message when trying to send to a particular email address.
A message that you have sent could not be delivered to one or more recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address failed:
<email@address.com>: 550 SPF: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is not allowed to send mail from domainname.com
I have checked the SPF records for their DNS provider and all seems to be correct.
- v=spf1 include:outlook.com -all
- v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all
I did notice in the bounce back message that the failed delivery receipt came from mxlogic which I am assuming is spam filtering.
Could someone please help with this issue?
Do I need to contact that companies IT department to allow domainname.com to globally allowed, or is there something I need to do on my end?
Thanks
